A Strong Woman = A Strong Community = A Strong New Jersey
The Womens Fund of New Jersey (WFNJ) was established in June 1995 with a mission to be a reliable and stable source of financial support for member organizations dedicated to improving the lives of women and, in so doing, improving society as a whole. The League of Women Voters of New Jersey Education Fund was a founding member. With its vision to advance the equality of women; advocate against violence; fight all forms of discrimination; promote reproductive freedom; improve the lives of women; and educate the public, WFNJ raises and distributes money to more than sixteen member organizations throughout the state. Its primary method is through workplace giving campaigns in the public and private sector. The League has received thousands of dollars over the past three years through these efforts. This year, the Womens Fund will be campaigning in the following locations: Corporate:
Public Sector:
Encourage your family and friends who may participate in the above-mentioned campaigns to give to the Womens Fund of New Jersey. Even if the Womens Fund is not a formal participant in their workplace campaigns, they can still designate their money to the Womens Fund of New Jersey by writing in their name on their campaign giving form. The more campaign locations, the more money raised for important organizations like ours. If you know someone who can link the Womens Fund into their workplace-giving program, please contact the Womens Fund office at (908) 851-7774 with the information.
