Voting in New Jersey
Please note that this kit was produced in 2008 and still refers to absentee ballots. New Jersey now uses "Vote by Mail" ballots which are similar to absentee ballots. More information about "Vote by Mail" ballots can be found on the NJ Division of Elections website. If you have any questions, you may reach the League of Women Voters of New Jersey at 1-800-792-VOTE (8683).
To request copies of brochures and forms mentioned in the kit, please contact Jesse Burns, Director of Communications and Projects, at jburns@lwvnj.org. Thank you for getting out the vote!
