The League of Women Voters Statement of Position on Immigration
The League of Women Voters of New Jersey has a statewide Immigration Committee, committed to understanding and influencing immigration policy in the state. Members interested in joining the Immigration Committee can contact the state office at kmbutch@lwvnj.org. The next Immigration Committee meeting will be Saturday, November 24, 10 am, at the North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.
The League of Women Voters of New Jersey wrote this op-ed in support of the administration's decision to suspend the deportation of certain unauthorized immigrants, on a case-by-case basis, who were brought here as children.
