New Jersey Civic Education Consortium - A partnership with the
Eagleton Institute of Politics to strengthen civic education in New
Jersey. LWVNJ is one of many nonprofits, educators, political leaders,
and corporations who were founding members of this initiative.

The Anti-Poverty Network
- LWVNJ is proud to be a member of this network of more than 60 nonprofits
public interest and faith-based groups advocating for the poor.The APN's
immediate goal is to make issues of social justice part of the discourse
during this year's election campaigns. The APN mailed a detailed questionnaire
to all legislative and gubernatorial candidates. The questionnaire asks
for candidates' positions on specific programs related to housing, health
care, education, childcare and nutrition. Many of the APN concerns are
identical to League positions, so we are "natural allies."
