The League of Women Voters is a grass-roots organization where hands-on work to safeguard democracy leads to civic improvement.  Add your voice to over 3,000 League members and supporters throughout New Jersey and over 150,000 across the U.S. in making democracy work:

Full voting membership is open to any citizen of voting age. Young people and noncitizens are welcome to join as associate members..

Our name derives from the proud legacy of the women's suffrage movement. Today's members are women and men from diverse communities.

How League Membership Benefits You

As a member of the League of Women Voters, you will follow in the footsteps of a long line of leaders committed to building better communities and a stronger democracy. Sharpen your skills in leadership, public speaking, research--whatever challenge you choose. It is experience you can carry over into your career--and your resume.
